About the Role

Our client is actively seeking a visionary Lead Electrical Design Engineer to join their expanding, fully remote team. This critical role will involve spearheading the electrical design aspects of innovative new product development and existing system enhancements, all managed from a remote setting. You will be responsible for setting the technical direction, ensuring high standards of design quality, and fostering collaboration among a geographically dispersed engineering group. Key Responsibilities

• Spearhead the architectural design and detailed engineering of complex electrical systems, ensuring scalability and reliability.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive electrical schematics, BOMs (Bills of Materials), and technical specifications for new product development.
• Lead remote design reviews, provide constructive feedback, and ensure adherence to design standards and best practices.
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional remote teams, including software, hardware, and mechanical engineers, to achieve project milestones.
• Research and implement new technologies and methodologies to enhance product performance and reduce costs.
• Troubleshoot design issues and provide remote technical support throughout the product lifecycle.

Requirements

• MSc or PhD in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Over 10 years of experience in electrical design, with a significant portion in a lead or senior capacity.
• Demonstrated expertise in designing high-speed digital circuits, power management systems, and embedded systems.
• Proficiency with industry-standard EDA tools for schematic capture and PCB layout.
• Exceptional understanding of **signal integrity**, power integrity, and EMC/EMI principles.
• Proven ability to lead and mentor remote engineering teams effectively, fostering a collaborative atmosphere.
