About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the electrical design and engineering of renewable energy projects, including grid-connected systems and energy storage solutions.
• Develop detailed electrical schematics, single-line diagrams, and technical specifications for power generation and distribution systems.
• Conduct thorough engineering analysis , including load flow, short circuit, and protection coordination studies.
• Oversee the selection and integration of key electrical equipment such as transformers, switchgear, inverters, and batteries.
• Ensure all designs comply with relevant industry standards, codes (e.g., IEC, NEC), and client requirements.
• Mentor and guide a team of electrical engineers and technicians, fostering technical excellence within a remote work environment.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Electrical Engineering with a specialization in power systems or renewable energy.
• A minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in electrical engineering, with at least 5 years focused on renewable energy projects.
• Proven expertise in solar PV systems , wind turbine electrical systems, or battery energy storage systems (BESS).
• Proficiency with electrical design and simulation software like PSS/E, ETAP, or similar tools.
• Strong understanding of grid interconnection standards and power system stability.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and collaboration skills, essential for managing a remote team.
