Key Responsibilities

• Lead the electrical design and engineering for renewable energy projects, including grid connection and integration.
• Develop detailed electrical designs, schematics, and specifications for power generation and storage systems.
• Conduct site assessments, feasibility studies, and technical due diligence for new projects.
• Manage relationships with suppliers, contractors, and regulatory bodies to ensure project success.
• Oversee the installation, commissioning, and testing of electrical systems on-site.
• Provide expert technical guidance and mentorship to the electrical engineering team in Berkshire .

Requirements

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field, with a strong focus on power systems.
• Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in electrical engineering, with substantial exposure to renewable energy technologies.
• In-depth knowledge of solar PV, wind turbines, and battery energy storage systems (BESS).
• Experience with power system analysis, grid connection standards, and relevant software tools.
• Proven track record of leading engineering projects and managing technical teams.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
