Our client is seeking an experienced Lead Electrical Engineer to join their team in Coventry . Key Responsibilities
- Lead the electrical design process for major projects, from conceptualization through to commissioning, ensuring all work complies with relevant codes and standards.
- Manage and mentor a team of electrical engineers, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
- Develop detailed electrical schematics , single-line diagrams, and control system architectures.
- Perform load calculations, power distribution analysis, and fault current studies.
- Coordinate with clients, project managers, and other disciplines to ensure seamless project integration and delivery.
- Conduct site visits for project verification, troubleshooting, and client consultations as needed.
Requirements
- A degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
- Significant experience (e.g., 8+ years) in a lead or senior electrical engineering role.
- Demonstrated expertise in power systems design, distribution, and protection.
- Proficiency in industry-standard CAD and simulation software.
- Strong leadership, communication, and project management skills.
- Experience with project lifecycle management and client-facing responsibilities is essential.
