About the Role
Our client is seeking a highly experienced Lead Electrical Installation Engineer to oversee critical electrical projects in Stoke-on-Trent . This role is responsible for the planning, execution, and supervision of all electrical installation activities, ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget. You will lead a team of electricians and technicians, provide technical expertise, and liaise with clients and other stakeholders to ensure project success. This is a hands-on leadership position requiring a deep understanding of electrical systems, installation standards, and project management principles within an industrial or commercial context.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage teams of electricians and technicians during electrical installation projects.
- Develop project plans, schedules, and resource allocations for electrical installations.
- Ensure all electrical installations comply with relevant national and international safety standards and regulations.
- Conduct site inspections, risk assessments, and quality control checks.
- Provide technical guidance and problem-solving support to the installation team.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients to ensure project objectives are met.
Requirements
- Extensive experience in electrical installation engineering, with a proven track record of leading projects.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, power distribution, control panels, and safety protocols.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting complex electrical schematics and blueprints.
- Experience in managing project budgets and timelines effectively.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Relevant degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent professional qualification is essential.
