About the Role
Our client is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Lead Frontend Developer specializing in React to drive the development of cutting-edge web applications in Coventry . Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and implementation of complex frontend features using React and modern JavaScript frameworks.
- Architect scalable and maintainable frontend solutions, making key decisions on technology and patterns.
- Mentor and guide a team of frontend developers, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.
- Collaborate with UX/UI designers and backend developers to translate designs and requirements into functional web applications.
- Conduct code reviews, ensure adherence to coding standards, and promote best practices in frontend development.
- Optimize application performance, responsiveness, and cross-browser compatibility.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional experience in frontend development, with at least 2 years in a lead or senior role.
- Expert proficiency in JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3, with deep expertise in the React ecosystem (including hooks, context API, and state management libraries like Redux or Zustand).
- Demonstrated experience in building and managing design systems and component libraries.
- Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, asynchronous request handling, and modern frontend build tools (e.g., Webpack, Vite).
- Experience with version control systems, particularly Git, and collaborative development workflows.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
