About the Role
Our client is seeking a visionary Lead Full Stack Developer to spearhead the development of innovative web applications. You will guide a talented team of developers, driving technical excellence from front-end to back-end infrastructure, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, scalable solutions. This role is based in our Newcastle upon Tyne office, offering a hybrid working model that balances collaborative in-office days with flexible remote working. You will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our digital products, working closely with stakeholders to translate business needs into robust, user-centric applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of full stack developers , fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.
- Oversee the architecture, design, and implementation of scalable and maintainable web applications.
- Develop robust back-end services and APIs using modern frameworks and best practices.
- Craft engaging and responsive user interfaces using front-end technologies.
- Collaborate with product management and design teams to define project scope and deliverables.
- Implement and champion Agile methodologies and best practices throughout the development lifecycle.
Requirements
- Extensive experience (7+ years) in Full Stack Development , with a significant portion in a lead or senior capacity.
- Strong proficiency in both front-end technologies (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js) and back-end languages/frameworks (e.g., Node.js, Python/Django, Ruby on Rails).
- Deep understanding of database technologies (SQL and NoSQL) and API design principles.
- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) and containerization (e.g., Docker).
- Proven ability to architect complex web applications and lead development teams effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a hybrid setting.
