Lead Full Stack Developer

About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Lead Full Stack Developer to spearhead development efforts from their Coventry office. In this leadership position, you will guide a team of talented developers in building and maintaining innovative web applications and services. You will be responsible for the entire development lifecycle, from conception and design to implementation and deployment, ensuring high-quality, scalable, and performant solutions. Key Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of full-stack developers, fostering a culture of technical excellence.
• Architect, design, and develop scalable and maintainable front-end and back-end systems.
• Oversee the entire software development lifecycle, including planning, coding, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
• Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to define project requirements and technical roadmaps.
• Implement best practices in coding, testing, and deployment, ensuring code quality and performance.
• Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.

Requirements

• 7+ years of professional experience in full stack development , with at least 2 years in a lead or senior mentorship role.
• Proficiency in front-end technologies such as React, Angular, or Vue.js.
• Strong experience with back-end languages and frameworks like Node.js, Python/Django, or Java/Spring.
• Expertise in designing and consuming RESTful APIs .
• Solid understanding of database technologies (SQL and NoSQL).
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and DevOps practices is highly desirable.
