About the Role
Our client is seeking an experienced and visionary Lead Full Stack Developer to spearhead a key development team in Coventry . This senior role involves architecting and developing cutting-edge web applications, bridging the gap between front-end user experience and robust back-end functionality. You will play a critical role in guiding the technical direction of projects, mentoring developers, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality, scalable software. Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and implementation of complex full-stack web applications, ensuring architectural integrity and scalability.
- Collaborate closely with product owners and stakeholders to define project roadmaps, technical requirements, and delivery timelines.
- Mentor and guide a team of talented front-end and back-end developers, fostering their technical growth and ensuring code quality through regular reviews.
- Develop and maintain reusable code, libraries, and front-end components that enhance application performance and user experience.
- Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure, ensuring smooth and efficient deployment processes.
- Proactively identify technical debt and implement strategies to refactor and improve the existing codebase.
Requirements
- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Minimum of 7 years of professional experience in full-stack web development, with a strong emphasis on leadership.
- Expertise in front-end technologies (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js) and modern JavaScript/TypeScript.
- In-depth knowledge of backend languages and frameworks (e.g., Node.js, Python/Django, Ruby on Rails, Java/Spring).
- Proficiency with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB).
- Demonstrated experience with cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization technologies.
