About the Role
Our client is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Lead Full Stack Developer to spearhead their software development initiatives in Birmingham . This leadership role is critical in guiding a talented team of developers, defining technical standards, and ensuring the successful delivery of innovative web applications. Key Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of full-stack developers, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and high performance.
- Architect, design, and develop scalable, secure, and high-performance web applications, covering both front-end and back-end components.
- Oversee the entire software development lifecycle, from initial concept and design through to implementation, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
- Establish and enforce coding standards, best practices, and development methodologies across the team.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, translate them into technical specifications, and deliver solutions that meet business needs.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical challenges, ensuring the stability and reliability of production systems.
Requirements
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Over 8 years of professional experience in full-stack web development, with at least 2 years in a lead or senior technical role.
- Strong expertise in front-end technologies (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js) and back-end technologies (e.g., Node.js, Python/Django, Java/Spring).
- Proven experience with database technologies, including relational (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB, Cassandra) databases.
- Demonstrated experience with cloud computing platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and CI/CD pipelines.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, with a passion for mentoring and team development.
