Lead Full Stack Developer

About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Lead Full Stack Developer to spearhead their software development initiatives in Birmingham . Key Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of full-stack developers, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and high performance.
• Architect, design, and develop scalable, secure, and high-performance web applications, covering both front-end and back-end components.
• Oversee the entire software development lifecycle, from initial concept and design through to implementation, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
• Establish and enforce coding standards, best practices, and development methodologies across the team.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, translate them into technical specifications, and deliver solutions that meet business needs.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical challenges, ensuring the stability and reliability of production systems.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Over 8 years of professional experience in full-stack web development, with at least 2 years in a lead or senior technical role.
• Strong expertise in front-end technologies (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js) and back-end technologies (e.g., Node.js, Python/Django, Java/Spring).
• Proven experience with database technologies, including relational (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB, Cassandra) databases.
• Demonstrated experience with cloud computing platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, with a passion for mentoring and team development.
