Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and execution of genomic research projects , including whole-genome and exome sequencing studies.
• Oversee the application of various Next-Generation Sequencing (NGS) library preparation and sequencing methodologies.
• Manage and analyze large-scale genomic datasets, ensuring data integrity and quality.
• Collaborate with computational biologists and data scientists to interpret genomic findings.
• Mentor junior scientists and contribute to the development of departmental strategies and protocols.
• Prepare scientific reports, publications, and present findings to internal and external audiences.

Requirements

• PhD in Genomics, Molecular Biology, Genetics, or a related field.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in a genomics-focused research role, with significant NGS experience.
• Expertise in Next-Generation Sequencing technologies (e.g., Illumina) and library preparation methods.
• Strong understanding of bioinformatics tools and pipelines for variant calling, gene expression analysis, and genome assembly.
• Demonstrated experience in leading research projects and mentoring team members.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, crucial for collaborative work.
