About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Manage project execution, including procurement, construction, commissioning, and handover, ensuring compliance with all safety and environmental regulations.
• Oversee the performance monitoring and operational efficiency of existing geothermal assets.
• Mentor and guide junior engineering staff, fostering technical expertise and professional development.
• Collaborate closely with regulatory bodies, stakeholders, and external contractors to ensure project success.

Requirements

• Proven track record as a Geothermal Project Engineer or in a similar senior engineering role within the energy sector.
• Extensive experience in reservoir engineering, drilling operations, and power plant design for geothermal applications.
• Strong understanding of thermodynamic principles and heat transfer relevant to geothermal systems.
• Demonstrated leadership and project management skills, with experience managing complex, multi-disciplinary projects.
• Proficiency with relevant engineering software and simulation tools (e.g., TOUGH2, EGS).
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Geosciences, or a closely related field.
