About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of manufacturing processes and systems across the Birmingham site.
• Develop and manage project plans, budgets, and timelines for major operational improvement initiatives.
• Mentor, coach, and develop a team of industrial engineers, fostering a high-performance culture.
• Champion the adoption of advanced manufacturing technologies and automation solutions.
• Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and monitor operational performance, identifying areas for enhancement.
• Collaborate with senior management to align industrial engineering strategies with overall business objectives.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Industrial Engineering or a related discipline.
• Extensive experience (10+ years) in industrial engineering leadership roles, preferably within a large-scale manufacturing environment.
• Demonstrated success in implementing Lean, Six Sigma, and Kaizen methodologies to achieve significant operational gains.
• Strong understanding of supply chain dynamics, logistics, and production planning.
• Proven ability to lead and motivate engineering teams and manage complex projects.
• Exceptional communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
