About the Role

Our client is seeking an accomplished Lead Industrial Engineer to spearhead process optimization initiatives within their fully remote operational framework. This senior position involves leading a team of engineers, setting strategic objectives for efficiency improvements, and driving the implementation of advanced methodologies across the organization. You will be instrumental in defining best practices for productivity, quality, and cost management, all while operating from a distance. Key Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of industrial engineers, fostering a collaborative and high-performance remote work environment.
• Develop and execute strategic plans for process improvement, waste reduction, and operational efficiency across the enterprise.
• Oversee the design, implementation, and validation of new production lines, equipment, and facility layouts.
• Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and performance monitoring systems to track operational effectiveness.
• Champion the adoption of lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and other continuous improvement methodologies.
• Conduct in-depth analyses of operational data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for innovation in industrial engineering .

Requirements

• Master's degree in Industrial Engineering or a closely related field.
• 10+ years of hands-on experience in industrial engineering and operations management, with at least 3 years in a leadership capacity.
• Demonstrated expertise in Lean Six Sigma (Master Black Belt preferred), Kaizen events, and value stream mapping.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with a focus on data integrity and actionable insights.
• Exceptional remote leadership, communication, and stakeholder management abilities.
• Experience with advanced production planning and control systems within a distributed team structure.
