About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced and forward-thinking Lead Industrial Engineer to join their team in Manchester . Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of industrial engineers, providing technical guidance and performance management.
• Develop and implement strategic industrial engineering plans and roadmaps for operational efficiency in Manchester .
• Oversee the design and optimization of manufacturing processes, layouts, and material flow systems.
• Champion the adoption and application of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies.
• Conduct feasibility studies and ROI analyses for proposed capital investments and process changes.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant safety, environmental, and quality standards.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field.
• Extensive experience (7+ years) in industrial engineering , with a proven track record in a leadership capacity.
• In-depth knowledge and practical application of Lean Manufacturing , Six Sigma (Black Belt certification highly desirable), and Theory of Constraints.
• Strong expertise in production planning , scheduling, inventory management, and supply chain logistics.
• Experience with advanced data analysis, simulation tools, and ERP systems.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and strategic thinking skills.
