About the Role

Our client is seeking a dynamic and experienced Lead Industrial Engineer to guide their operational advancements in Glasgow, Scotland . Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage industrial engineering projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget.
• Develop and implement strategic initiatives for continuous improvement in manufacturing and operational processes.
• Mentor and guide a team of industrial engineers, fostering their professional growth and ensuring high performance.
• Champion the adoption of lean manufacturing principles, Six Sigma methodologies, and other efficiency-enhancing tools.
• Analyze complex operational data to identify trends, root causes of issues, and opportunities for significant improvement.
• Collaborate with senior management to align engineering strategies with overall business objectives.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field; Professional Engineer (PE) certification is a plus.
• Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in industrial engineering, with at least 3 years in a leadership or supervisory role.
• Demonstrated expertise in lean manufacturing, Six Sigma (Black Belt certification preferred), and process optimization techniques.
• Strong project management skills with a proven track record of successfully managing complex engineering initiatives.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills to effectively manage and motivate teams.
