Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive information security policies, standards, and guidelines.
- Conduct regular security risk assessments, vulnerability scans, and penetration tests to identify and remediate potential weaknesses.
- Oversee incident response activities, including investigation, containment, eradication, and recovery from security breaches.
- Design and manage security awareness training programs for all employees to foster a security-conscious culture.
- Collaborate with IT teams to ensure secure configuration and deployment of network infrastructure, systems, and applications.
- Stay abreast of emerging security threats, vulnerabilities, and technologies, and recommend appropriate countermeasures.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field; relevant Master's degree preferred.
- Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in information security roles.
- Proven expertise in risk management frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001) and security best practices.
- Hands-on experience with security tools such as SIEM, IDS/IPS, endpoint detection and response (EDR), and vulnerability management platforms.
- Strong understanding of network security, cryptography, cloud security principles, and data privacy regulations.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to lead technical initiatives.
