Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and implementation of game levels , ensuring they support narrative objectives and player progression.
• Develop compelling level layouts, pacing, and environmental storytelling elements.
• Collaborate closely with writers, narrative designers, and artists to integrate story beats and character arcs into the game environment.
• Mentor and guide junior level designers, providing feedback and ensuring the quality and consistency of level design work.
• Utilize level editing tools (e.g., Unreal Engine, Unity) to build, iterate, and polish game spaces.
• Ensure levels are optimized for performance and play well across target platforms.

Requirements

• Minimum of 6 years of experience in level design , with a significant portfolio showcasing narrative-driven environments.
• Proven ability to design engaging levels that integrate gameplay mechanics and storytelling effectively.
• Strong understanding of environmental storytelling , pacing, and player psychology.
• Experience leading or mentoring a team of designers.
• Proficiency with industry-standard level editing tools and game engines.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
