Lead Massage Therapist

About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced and dedicated Lead Massage Therapist to join their expanding wellness centre in Coventry . In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional massage therapy services, as well as guiding and supporting a team of therapists. You will play a key part in developing treatment protocols, ensuring the highest standards of client care, and contributing to the overall success of the centre. Key Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of therapeutic massage techniques tailored to individual client needs.
• Develop and implement personalised treatment plans for clients to address specific health and wellness goals.
• Supervise and mentor junior massage therapists, providing guidance on techniques and client management.
• Conduct client assessments and maintain detailed, confidential client records .
• Contribute to the development and maintenance of service standards and protocols.
• Ensure the therapy rooms are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene.

Requirements

• Recognised qualification in Massage Therapy (e.g., ITEC, BTEC, VTCT) or equivalent.
• Minimum of 5 years' experience as a practicing Massage Therapist.
• Expertise in various massage modalities, including deep tissue, Swedish, and sports massage.
• Strong understanding of anatomy, physiology, and kinesiology.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective client and team interaction.
• Ability to lead and motivate a team in a professional setting.
