About the Role

Our client, a premier wellness spa in Belfast , is seeking a dedicated and skilled Lead Massage Therapist to enhance their team. This role is for a professional who is passionate about providing therapeutic massage and enjoys a leadership capacity, guiding junior therapists and ensuring the highest standards of client care and relaxation. You will be responsible for delivering a range of massage treatments, contributing to treatment plan development, and maintaining a tranquil and professional spa environment. Key Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of massage techniques, including Swedish, deep tissue, sports massage, and aromatherapy.
• Conduct client assessments to understand their needs and tailor treatments accordingly.
• Lead and mentor junior massage therapists, providing guidance on technique and client management.
• Ensure adherence to strict hygiene and sanitation protocols within the treatment rooms.
• Manage appointment bookings and maintain accurate client treatment records.
• Contribute to the development of new massage services and treatment packages.

Requirements

• Recognized qualification in Sports Therapy, Massage Therapy, or equivalent.
• Minimum of 5 years' experience as a practicing Massage Therapist .
• Proficiency in multiple massage modalities.
• Excellent understanding of anatomy, physiology, and kinesiology.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on client well-being.
• Leadership qualities and the ability to inspire and guide a team.
