About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough stress analysis , thermal analysis, and vibration testing to guarantee the integrity and performance of engineered systems.
• Manage and mentor a team of mechanical engineers, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
• Liaise with procurement, manufacturing, and quality assurance departments to ensure efficient and effective product realization in Birmingham .

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited institution.
• Over 8 years of progressive experience in mechanical design, with at least 3 years in a lead or supervisory role.
• Expertise in advanced CAD software (e.g., Inventor, Fusion 360) and FEA tools .
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously.
• Strong knowledge of materials selection, manufacturing processes, and product lifecycle management.
