Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design and development lifecycle for new mechanical products and systems, from concept to production.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to a team of mechanical engineers working remotely.
- Conduct advanced stress analysis , thermal simulations, and dynamic system modeling.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive design documentation, including schematics, BOMs, and manufacturing instructions.
- Collaborate closely with stakeholders across product management, software engineering, and operations to align on project goals and deliverables.
- Drive the adoption of best practices in mechanical design, including DFM, DFA, and reliability engineering.
Requirements
- Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent practical experience.
- Over 10 years of progressive experience in mechanical design engineering, with a significant portion in a leadership capacity.
- Demonstrated expertise in CAD software (e.g., CATIA, Siemens NX) and simulation tools (e.g., ANSYS).
- In-depth knowledge of materials science, manufacturing processes, and system integration.
- Proven ability to manage complex projects and deliver results within tight deadlines in a remote environment .
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
