Our client is seeking a highly experienced and motivated Lead Mechanical Engineer to join their innovative and entirely remote team. Key Responsibilities

• Lead the mechanical design and development process for new products and systems, from initial concept through to production.
• Oversee and conduct advanced engineering analyses, including Finite Element Analysis (FEA) , Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD), and thermal simulations.
• Mentor and guide a team of mechanical engineers, providing technical leadership and fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement in a remote setting.
• Collaborate with project management, R&D, and external partners to define project requirements and ensure timely delivery of technical milestones.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive design documentation, including technical specifications, design justifications, and validation reports.
• Drive innovation by researching and recommending new technologies, materials, and design methodologies to enhance product performance and efficiency.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related field.
• Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in mechanical engineering, with a strong emphasis on design and development.
• Proven track record of leading complex engineering projects and teams, ideally in a remote capacity.
• Expertise in advanced CAD/CAE software and simulation tools.
• Deep understanding of thermodynamics , fluid mechanics, material science, and manufacturing processes.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and strategic thinking skills.
