Lead Medical Science Liaison (MSL) - Oncology

About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Lead Medical Science Liaison (MSL) specializing in Oncology to join their rapidly expanding, fully remote team. This critical role serves as the primary scientific and medical resource for healthcare professionals (HCPs) and key opinion leaders (KOLs) in the therapeutic area, providing deep scientific insights and fostering collaborative relationships. You will be instrumental in disseminating complex scientific information, gathering real-world insights, and supporting the company's research and clinical development efforts from a remote setting. This is an exceptional opportunity for a scientifically driven individual to influence medical strategy and advance patient care in Oncology across the UK.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with leading oncology KOLs and HCPs, serving as a trusted scientific expert.
• Deliver accurate, balanced, and scientifically rigorous information on the company's therapeutic areas and investigational agents through various engagements.
• Gather and communicate valuable insights from KOLs and HCPs regarding clinical practice, unmet medical needs, and scientific trends.
• Support clinical trial activities, including site identification, patient recruitment, and data collection, in alignment with medical strategy.
• Present complex scientific data at medical conferences, symposia, and advisory boards, both virtually and potentially in-person as required.
• Contribute to the development and execution of the regional medical affairs strategy for Oncology , working collaboratively with internal teams.

Requirements

• Advanced scientific degree (MD, PharmD, Ph.D.) in a life science or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in the pharmaceutical or biotech industry, with at least 3 years as an MSL.
• Deep therapeutic area expertise in Oncology , with a strong understanding of current treatment paradigms and ongoing research.
• Proven ability to engage effectively with KOLs and HCPs, demonstrating excellent scientific communication and presentation skills.
• Strong understanding of clinical trial design, data analysis, and regulatory/compliance guidelines.
• Ability to work independently and manage a remote territory effectively, demonstrating excellent organizational and time management skills.
