About the Role
Our client is seeking a highly experienced and strategic Lead Portfolio Manager to manage investment portfolios for their clients in Nottingham . This senior role is responsible for developing and implementing investment strategies, conducting market research, and managing client relationships to achieve optimal investment performance. You will lead a team of investment professionals, ensuring adherence to investment policies and risk management guidelines. The ideal candidate is a seasoned professional with a proven track record in asset management, a deep understanding of financial markets, and a passion for delivering superior investment outcomes within the banking and finance sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute investment strategies across various asset classes to meet client objectives.
- Conduct in-depth market research, economic analysis, and security selection.
- Manage client portfolios, ensuring alignment with investment mandates and risk tolerance.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of investment analysts and advisors.
- Monitor portfolio performance, conduct regular reviews, and make necessary adjustments.

Requirements
- Master's degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field; CFA charter holder preferred.
- Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in portfolio management or investment advisory.
- Demonstrated success in managing institutional or high-net-worth client portfolios.
- Strong understanding of financial markets, investment instruments, and risk management techniques.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and client relationship management skills.
