About the Role

Our client is seeking an accomplished Lead Power Systems Engineer to drive innovation and technical excellence within their remote engineering team. Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, analysis, and simulation of high-voltage power systems, including transmission and distribution networks.
• Develop and implement strategies for integrating renewable energy, energy storage, and smart grid technologies.
• Oversee technical aspects of power system projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices.
• Mentor and guide a team of power systems engineers, fostering a culture of technical growth and problem-solving.

Requirements

• Master's degree or PhD in Electrical Engineering with a specialization in Power Systems.
• Extensive experience (7+ years) in power systems engineering , including design, analysis, and operation.
• Proficiency with power system simulation software such as PSS/E, ETAP, or PSCAD.
• Strong understanding of grid codes, regulatory requirements, and the challenges of renewable energy integration .
• Demonstrated leadership capabilities and experience working effectively in a fully remote, collaborative environment.
