About the Role
Our client is seeking a highly experienced and motivated Lead Power Systems Engineer to spearhead their remote engineering initiatives. Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design and implementation of complex electrical power systems , including generation, distribution, and protection.
- Conduct thorough power system studies, including load flow, fault analysis, and stability analysis.
- Develop and maintain system documentation, specifications, and project reports for remote accessibility.
- Collaborate virtually with hardware, software, and project management teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery.
- Mentor and guide remote junior engineers, fostering a collaborative and productive virtual work environment.
- Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends to propose innovative solutions.
Requirements
- Master's degree in Electrical Engineering with a specialization in Power Systems.
- Over 10 years of progressive experience in power systems engineering and design.
- Demonstrated experience leading technical teams and managing complex projects remotely.
- Expertise in power system analysis software (e.g., ETAP, PSS/E, PSCAD).
- Strong understanding of grid integration, renewable energy systems, and modern power electronics.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, essential for a remote work setting.
