Lead Project Manager

About the Role

Our client is recruiting a proactive and experienced Lead Project Manager to oversee critical projects for their operations in Coventry . This senior position requires a strategic thinker capable of managing complex, high-value projects from inception to completion. You will be responsible for guiding project teams, ensuring efficient resource allocation, and delivering projects on time and within budget, playing a key role in the strategic direction and operational success of the company.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the end-to-end delivery of a portfolio of projects, ensuring alignment with company strategy.
• Lead and mentor a team of project managers and project coordinators, providing guidance and support.
• Develop and implement robust project governance frameworks and reporting structures.
• Manage relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, vendors, and internal departments.
• Identify and manage project risks, issues, and dependencies, escalating where necessary.
• Drive process improvements within the project management function, enhancing efficiency and effectiveness across Coventry based operations.

Requirements

• Extensive experience (7+ years) in project management, with at least 3 years in a lead or senior role.
• Demonstrated ability to manage large-scale, complex projects with significant budgets and cross-functional teams.
• Strong leadership qualities and excellent negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
• Expertise in project management software and tools.
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field; relevant professional certifications are a plus.
