Lead Project Manager

About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Lead Project Manager to spearhead critical projects within their expanding organization based in Coventry, West Midlands, UK . You will be responsible for guiding project teams, defining project scope, managing resources effectively, and ensuring the successful delivery of strategic objectives. Key Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor project teams, fostering a culture of accountability and high performance throughout the project lifecycle.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive project charters , scope statements, and work breakdown structures.
• Manage project schedules, milestones, and resource allocation to ensure timely and efficient project completion.
• Proactively identify and manage project risks, issues, and changes, implementing mitigation strategies as needed.
• Liaise with stakeholders at all levels to ensure clear communication, manage expectations, and facilitate decision-making.
• Monitor project progress against established baselines and report key performance indicators to senior management.

Requirements

• Extensive experience (8+ years) in a Project Management capacity, with a strong emphasis on leading cross-functional teams.
• Proven ability to manage large-scale projects from initiation through to closure.
• Expertise in project planning and execution methodologies (e.g., Agile, PRINCE2).
• Exceptional communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
• Proficiency in utilizing project management software for scheduling, tracking, and reporting.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; PMP or equivalent certification is essential.
