About the Role

Our client is looking for an experienced Lead Project Manager to spearhead critical initiatives in Birmingham . This leadership position requires a strategic thinker with exceptional organizational skills to guide projects from conception through to successful implementation. You will be responsible for setting project direction, managing resources effectively, and ensuring the delivery of strategic objectives within budget and on schedule, playing a crucial role in the company's growth and operational efficiency while mentoring a team of project coordinators and junior managers.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of multiple concurrent projects in the Birmingham region.
• Develop and maintain strategic project roadmaps aligned with organisational goals.
• Manage project budgets, resources, and timelines, ensuring optimal allocation and utilisation.
• Provide leadership and guidance to project teams, fostering a high-performance culture.
• Conduct regular project reviews and stakeholder update meetings, addressing any concerns proactively.
• Implement and refine project management best practices and methodologies across the organisation.

Requirements

• Extensive experience (7+ years) in project management , with significant leadership responsibilities.
• Strong understanding of agile and waterfall methodologies .
• Exceptional stakeholder engagement and communication abilities.
• Proficiency in risk management and quality assurance processes.
• PMP or equivalent certification is a strong asset.
