About the Role

Our client, a forward-thinking recruitment consultancy in Belfast , is seeking an experienced Lead Recruitment Consultant to build and manage a new specialist division focused on the burgeoning tech and digital sector in Northern Ireland. Key Responsibilities

• Establish and lead a new specialist recruitment division, defining its strategy, market focus, and operational processes.
• Drive aggressive business development initiatives to secure high-value clients within the target tech and digital sectors.
• Build, train, and mentor a team of recruitment consultants, ensuring they meet performance benchmarks and adhere to best practices.
• Oversee the entire recruitment lifecycle for critical and complex roles, from candidate engagement to offer management.
• Analyse market intelligence, competitor activities, and client needs to refine service offerings and maintain a competitive edge.

Requirements

• Significant experience (6+ years) in recruitment consultancy , with a proven track record in a leadership or senior consultant role.
• Demonstrable success in developing new business streams and managing complex client relationships, preferably within the tech sector .
• Exceptional leadership, coaching, and team-building capabilities.
• Strong understanding of the Northern Irish job market, particularly in technology and digital industries.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and strategic planning skills.
