About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Lead Research Scientist to spearhead innovative projects within their cutting-edge biotechnology division in London . Key Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of scientists and technicians in the design and execution of complex research experiments.
• Develop and implement novel research strategies and protocols in areas such as gene editing and protein engineering.
• Analyze experimental data, interpret results, and prepare comprehensive reports and presentations for stakeholders.
• Manage research budgets, resource allocation, and project timelines to ensure efficient progress.
• Stay abreast of the latest scientific literature and technological advancements in biotechnology.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product development and regulatory affairs, to advance research initiatives.

Requirements

• PhD in Biotechnology , Molecular Biology, or a related life science field.
• Minimum of 8 years of post-doctoral research experience in an R&D setting, with at least 3 years in a leadership or supervisory role.
• Proven track record of successful research project management and delivering scientific outcomes.
• Expertise in molecular biology techniques , mammalian cell culture, and assay development.
• Experience with bioinformatics tools and statistical analysis software.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
