About the Role
Our client is searching for an experienced Lead Scientist in Bioinformatics Analysis to guide their research initiatives in Belfast . Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development and implementation of advanced bioinformatics pipelines for analyzing complex biological data (e.g., genomics, transcriptomics, proteomics).

- Collaborate with experimental scientists to define research questions and design data analysis strategies.
- Develop and maintain robust codebases and workflows using appropriate programming languages and tools.

Requirements
- PhD in Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field.
- Significant experience (5+ years) in bioinformatics, with demonstrated leadership capabilities.
- Expertise in analyzing large omics datasets and applying statistical and machine learning methods.
- Proficiency in scripting/programming languages such as Python, R, or Perl.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and team management skills, essential for leading teams in Belfast .
