Our client is looking for an accomplished Lead Scientist to spearhead their Genomics Research initiatives, operating within a fully remote capacity. Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and execution of high-impact genomics research projects, including whole-genome sequencing, exome sequencing, and RNA-Seq analysis.

• Manage and mentor a team of genomics scientists and bioinformaticians, fostering their professional growth in a remote setting.

Requirements

• PhD in Genomics, Bioinformatics, Molecular Biology, or a related field with a strong focus on genetics.
• Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in genomics research, with a proven track record of leadership.
• Extensive experience in experimental design and analysis of various next-generation sequencing (NGS) data types.
• Proficiency in programming languages (e.g., Python, R) and common bioinformatics tools and databases.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and manage remote scientific teams effectively.
