Key Responsibilities

• Identify and assess potential sites for solar farm development , considering grid connection, environmental factors, and planning policy.
• Lead the process of obtaining necessary planning permissions and environmental permits.
• Manage relationships with landowners, local authorities, and stakeholders.
• Develop financial models and secure investment for solar projects.
• Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) teams.
• Stay informed about market trends, policy changes, and technological advancements in solar energy .

Requirements

• Degree in a relevant field such as Planning, Environmental Science, Engineering, or Business.
• Significant experience (7+ years) in renewable energy project development , with a strong focus on solar PV.
• Demonstrated success in securing planning consents and grid connections for large-scale projects.
• Strong understanding of the UK energy market and regulatory framework.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and business development skills.
