Key Responsibilities
- Conceptualize and execute the overall sound design strategy for projects, ensuring a cohesive and impactful auditory experience.
- Lead, mentor, and inspire a remote team of sound designers, composers, and audio engineers.
- Design, record, edit, and mix all sound elements, including ambient sound, Foley, sound effects, and dialogue.
- Develop and implement innovative audio technologies and workflows to enhance immersion and realism.
- Collaborate closely with directors, game designers, and other creative leads to integrate sound effectively with visual and interactive elements.
- Manage audio budgets and timelines, ensuring efficient resource allocation and delivery of high-quality audio assets.
Requirements
- Minimum 7 years of experience in sound design , with a significant portion in lead or senior roles within the Arts & Entertainment industry (games, film, immersive experiences).
- Proven ability to lead and manage remote creative teams, fostering collaboration and innovation.
- Expertise in digital audio workstations (DAWs) such as Pro Tools , Logic Pro, or Reaper, and audio middleware (e.g., Wwise, FMOD).
- A strong portfolio showcasing exceptional sound design and mixing skills across diverse projects.
- Deep understanding of acoustics, psychoacoustics, and audio engineering principles.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to articulate complex audio concepts effectively to non-technical stakeholders.
