Key Responsibilities
- Lead the structural design process for diverse projects, ensuring technical excellence, innovation, and adherence to project objectives.
- Manage project teams, resources, and timelines to ensure efficient and effective project delivery.
- Conduct complex structural analysis and design using advanced software and methodologies for various materials.
- Review and approve design calculations, drawings, and specifications produced by the engineering team.
- Collaborate closely with clients, architects, and contractors to resolve design challenges and ensure seamless integration.
- Champion high standards of safety, quality, and best practice in structural engineering.
Requirements
- Degree in Structural Engineering or Civil Engineering with a strong structural focus.
- Chartered Engineer status (CEng) with a recognized professional body.
- A minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in structural engineering, including significant project leadership.
- Expertise in structural design software and a thorough understanding of relevant British Standards and Eurocodes.
- Strong leadership, communication, and client-facing skills.
