About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the structural design process for complex construction projects, ensuring compliance with all relevant building codes and standards.

• Review and approve structural drawings, specifications, and calculations.

Requirements

• Chartered Engineer (CEng) status with a recognized professional institution.
• Significant experience (10+ years) in structural engineering, with a proven track record in leading design teams.
• Expertise in finite element analysis (FEA) and structural design software (e.g., STAAD.Pro, Tekla Structural Designer).
• Deep understanding of relevant British Standards and Eurocodes for structural design.
• Excellent leadership, project management, and communication skills.
• Experience with a variety of construction materials, including steel, concrete, and masonry.
