About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly strategic and experienced Lead Telecoms Network Architect to spearhead the design and evolution of their global network infrastructure. This is a fully remote position, offering the flexibility to work from anywhere in the UK. You will be responsible for developing the architectural roadmap, defining standards, and ensuring that the network effectively supports business objectives and future growth. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the long-term architectural vision for the company's telecommunications network.

• Define technical standards, best practices, and governance frameworks for network design and deployment.

Requirements

• Extensive experience in telecommunications network architecture and design, with a focus on large-scale networks.
• Proven track record of designing and implementing complex network solutions involving routing, switching, security, and transport technologies.
• Deep understanding of cloud networking, SDN, NFV, and associated architectural patterns.
• Expertise in developing architectural roadmaps and technical strategy documents.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
• Relevant advanced certifications (e.g., CCIE, JNCIE) or equivalent experience are essential.
