Lead UI/UX Designer

About the Role

Our client is searching for an innovative and experienced Lead UI/UX Designer to spearhead their design initiatives from a remote position. You will be responsible for setting the design vision, leading the user experience strategy, and mentoring a talented team of designers. This role requires a deep understanding of user-centered design principles and a proven ability to translate complex user needs into intuitive and engaging digital products. You will collaborate closely with product management and engineering to ensure cohesive and impactful design outcomes, driving the aesthetic and functional direction of our client's digital offerings.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the entire design process, from user research and wireframing to prototyping and final visual design for web and mobile applications.
• Develop and refine comprehensive user personas , user journeys, and interaction models.
• Create and maintain design systems, style guides, and component libraries to ensure consistency and scalability.
• Mentor and guide junior designers, fostering a culture of design excellence and innovation.
• Collaborate effectively with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to ensure design feasibility and alignment with business goals.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in UI/UX design , with a significant portion in a lead or senior capacity.
• A strong portfolio showcasing end-to-end product design experience and a deep understanding of UX principles.
• Expertise in industry-standard design and prototyping tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, InVision).
• Proven experience in conducting user research, usability testing, and translating findings into design improvements.
• Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, crucial for remote leadership.
