About the Role

Our client is looking for an visionary and experienced Lead Urban Designer to spearhead significant urban regeneration and development projects from their Reading office. This senior role requires a deep understanding of urban planning principles, design excellence, and community engagement. Key Responsibilities

• Lead the conceptualization and development of urban design strategies and masterplans.
• Manage and mentor a team of urban designers and related professionals.

Requirements

• Advanced degree in Urban Design, Urban Planning, Architecture , or a related field.
• Significant professional experience in leading complex urban design projects.
• Expertise in masterplanning, placemaking, and design guidelines development.
• Proficiency in relevant design and visualisation software.
• Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
