Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and implementation of all visual effects (VFX) for projects, ensuring artistic cohesion and technical excellence.
• Direct and mentor a remote team of VFX artists, providing clear feedback, technical guidance, and artistic direction.
• Develop and refine VFX workflows, tools, and techniques to optimize efficiency and creative output.
• Collaborate closely with art directors, technical directors, and other departments to integrate VFX seamlessly into the final product.
• Create visually compelling effects such as explosions, magic spells, environmental phenomena, and more, adhering to project style and performance budgets.
• Stay current with the latest VFX technologies, software, and industry trends to drive innovation within the team.

Requirements

• Extensive experience in VFX Artistry , with a proven track record in a lead or senior role within the entertainment industry.
• A strong portfolio demonstrating exceptional creativity, technical skill, and a deep understanding of real-time and pre-rendered VFX.
• Proficiency in industry-standard VFX software (e.g., Houdini, Maya, Unreal Engine, Unity, After Effects).
• Experience managing and motivating remote art teams, with excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Strong understanding of simulation, particle systems, shaders, and rendering techniques.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues and optimize performance for various platforms.
