About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced and visionary Lead Video Editor to spearhead their video production efforts, operating in a fully remote capacity. You will be responsible for the entire post-production process, transforming raw footage into polished, engaging video content that aligns with our client's brand identity and marketing objectives. This role is crucial for enhancing our digital storytelling and requires a leader who can manage projects, mentor junior editors, and maintain the highest standards of quality and creativity. You will work closely with the content and marketing teams to ensure video assets effectively communicate key messages and drive audience engagement across various platforms from your home office.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the editing process for a wide range of video projects, including marketing videos, social media clips, explainer videos, and internal communications.
• Manage project timelines, workflows, and final delivery schedules for all video content.
• Collaborate with creative directors and marketing teams to understand project requirements and translate concepts into visually compelling narratives.
• Perform color correction, sound mixing, motion graphics integration, and ensure overall aesthetic quality.
• Mentor and provide constructive feedback to junior video editors and freelancers.
• Maintain an organized digital asset management system for all video files and project assets.

Requirements

• Proven track record as a Video Editor , with a significant portion of experience in a lead or senior role.
• Expert proficiency with professional video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve.
• Strong understanding of color grading, sound design, and motion graphics principles.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines in a remote setting.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with remote teams.
