About the Role

Our client is seeking an exceptional Lead Video Editor to spearhead their content creation efforts remotely. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the editing process for a variety of arts and entertainment projects, ensuring a consistent and high-quality output that aligns with brand strategy and creative direction. You will lead a team of editors, mentor junior staff, and champion best practices in video post-production. This is a fully remote position, offering the flexibility to work from anywhere while making a significant impact on compelling visual narratives.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the editing process for diverse video content, including promotional materials, documentaries, and social media clips.
• Oversee and guide a team of video editors, providing constructive feedback and ensuring project deadlines are met.
• Develop and implement efficient post-production workflows and editing standards.
• Collaborate with creative directors and marketing teams to translate concepts into engaging visual stories.
• Perform final quality control checks on all edited videos before distribution.

Requirements

• Extensive experience as a Video Editor , with a strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in narrative storytelling and visual aesthetics.
• Demonstrated leadership experience, with a proven ability to manage and mentor a team.
• Advanced proficiency in professional video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve.
• Solid understanding of video codecs, compression, and file formats for various platforms.
• Excellent communication and project management skills, essential for a remote working environment.
