Our client is seeking a talented and experienced Lead Web Developer (Frontend) to guide their development team and architect cutting-edge user interfaces. You will be instrumental in translating design concepts into functional, responsive, and high-performance web applications. This role, based in Wolverhampton , requires strong technical leadership, deep expertise in frontend technologies, and a passion for creating exceptional user experiences. You will collaborate closely with designers, backend developers, and product managers to deliver robust and scalable web solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the frontend development process, setting coding standards, and mentoring junior developers.
- Develop, test, and deploy high-quality, responsive, and user-friendly web interfaces using modern frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js).
- Collaborate with UI/UX designers to ensure seamless integration of visual elements and interactive features.
- Optimize web applications for maximum speed, scalability, and cross-browser compatibility.
- Implement and manage frontend build tools, version control systems (e.g., Git), and CI/CD pipelines.
- Troubleshoot and debug frontend issues, ensuring a stable and performant user experience.
Requirements
- Significant professional experience as a Frontend Developer , with a strong portfolio of web applications.
- Expertise in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+), and modern frontend frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue.js.
- Experience with state management libraries (e.g., Redux, Zustand) and UI component libraries.
- Proficiency in using build tools (e.g., Webpack, Vite) and version control systems (Git).
- Strong understanding of responsive design principles, accessibility standards (WCAG), and web performance optimization.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
