Lean Manufacturing Engineer

About the Role

Our client is seeking a dedicated Lean Manufacturing Engineer to join their innovative team, operating on a fully remote basis. This role is critical in fostering a culture of continuous improvement and efficiency within our client's manufacturing operations. You will be responsible for implementing and sustaining Lean principles , driving waste reduction, and optimizing production processes to achieve superior performance. This position offers a unique opportunity for an experienced engineer to leverage their expertise in a remote setting, contributing significantly to operational excellence and strategic growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the deployment of Lean methodologies, including Kaizen events, 5S, Value Stream Mapping, and Kanban.
• Identify and eliminate non-value-added activities throughout the production process.
• Develop and implement standardized work instructions and best practices for all manufacturing operations.
• Analyze production data to identify root causes of quality issues and implement corrective actions.
• Facilitate and lead cross-functional teams in problem-solving and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Train and mentor site personnel on Lean Manufacturing concepts and tools.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Lean Manufacturing or process improvement within an industrial setting.
• Certified Lean or Six Sigma Black Belt is highly desirable.
• Strong understanding of 5S, VSM, Kaizen, and other Lean tools .
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and facilitation skills.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects remotely and drive results.
