Learning and Development Specialist

About the Role

Our client is seeking a proactive and skilled Learning and Development Specialist to join their team in Sheffield . This role is responsible for designing, implementing, and evaluating a wide range of training programs aimed at enhancing employee skills, performance, and career growth. You will work across departments to identify learning needs, develop engaging content, and facilitate effective training sessions, contributing to a culture of continuous learning and professional development within the organisation. This position plays a key part in employee engagement and talent management.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify organizational training needs and develop comprehensive learning strategies and programs to meet those needs.
• Design and deliver engaging training materials and sessions, both in-person and online, utilising various instructional methods.
• Develop and manage the company's e-learning platform, curating content and ensuring user accessibility.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through feedback, assessments, and performance metrics, making necessary adjustments.
• Collaborate with HR and departmental managers to align L&D initiatives with business objectives and employee development goals.
• Stay updated on the latest trends and best practices in adult learning, instructional design, and corporate training.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Education, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a Learning and Development or Training role.
• Proven ability to design and deliver effective training programs and workshops.
• Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and e-learning development tools.
• Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
