Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct personal care and support to individuals with learning disabilities according to their care plans.
• Assist clients with daily routines, including meal preparation, personal hygiene, and household tasks.
• Support clients in accessing community resources, engaging in recreational activities, and maintaining social connections.
• Promote independence and skill development through tailored encouragement and guidance.
• Communicate effectively with clients, their families, and other professionals involved in their care.
• Document observations, progress, and any concerns accurately and in a timely manner.

Requirements

• Previous experience supporting individuals with learning disabilities is preferred.
• A patient, empathetic, and understanding approach to care.
• Good communication and listening skills.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a supportive team.
