The Role

• Support pupils on a one-to-one basis and in small groups to help them achieve their full potential.
• Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons.
• Encourage positive behaviour and support pupils' social and emotional development.
• Adapt to the individual needs of pupils, including those with additional learning needs.
• Build positive relationships with pupils, staff and parents where appropriate.

The Candidate

• Previous experience working with children or young people is desirable.
• A patient, caring and proactive approach.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Reliable, adaptable and professional attitude.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
