Teaching Assistant - Earlsfield - Full Time
A welcoming mainstream primary school in Earlsfield is seeking an experienced and dedicated Teaching Assistant to join its team on a full-time basis. The successful Teaching Assistant will provide dedicated support to a Year 4 pupil with ASD and ADHD , helping them to access learning and thrive within the classroom environment.
This is an excellent opportunity for a Teaching Assistant with genuine experience supporting children with special educational needs . The school is looking for someone who is patient, nurturing and confident in adapting their approach to meet individual needs.
The Role - Teaching Assistant
The successful Teaching Assistant will:
Provide dedicated 1:1 and classroom support to a Year 4 pupil with ASD and ADHD .
Support the pupil with their learning, engagement and participation throughout the school day.
Help develop the pupil's confidence, independence and social skills.
Implement strategies to support emotional regulation and positive behaviour.
Work closely with the class teacher and SEN team to ensure consistent support.
Build a positive and trusting relationship with the pupil.
Contribute to an inclusive and supportive classroom environment.
The Ideal Teaching Assistant
The school is seeking a Teaching Assistant who:
Has previous experience working with children with special educational needs .
Has experience supporting children with ASD and/or ADHD .
Is patient, calm and empathetic.
Can build strong relationships with children and staff.
Is confident managing challenging situations in a positive and professional manner.
Has a genuine passion for supporting children to reach their full potential.
Can commit to a full-time position.
Teaching Assistant - Earlsfield
This Teaching Assistant position offers the opportunity to become an integral part of a supportive primary school and make a genuine difference to the educational and personal development of a Year 4 pupil.
The role would suit an experienced Teaching Assistant, SEN Teaching Assistant, Learning Support Assistant or 1:1 Teaching Assistant with a strong background in special educational needs.
